  1. Chuck, I’m glad to see someone with your initiative making an online alternative to a local established paper that seems to have lost touch with reality. I find less and less “news” in their venue and keep coming away disappointed after my daily morning check on relevant happenings here in Port Angeles. To be honest, I even submitted pictures during our construction here at George Washington Inn that would have been “grabbers” in their paper and didn’t even get so much as an acknowledgment or thank you. As more and more people catch on to your progressive insight and contribution to our community, success will only follow. Any business owner knows that customers always come first and if their needs are not being met, then they will always find alternatives that will meet those needs.

  2. Dan, I appreciate your participation here. Can I be honest on this public forum about something? Of course I can. I’m a little disappointed that no one else in Port Angeles seems to be participating in this exciting and powerful Internet world that is moving forward like a train picking up speed. Are there any businesses in Port Angeles that are serious about using the Internet? Hello . . . hellooooooow. I’m on the Internet like a crazy man, and I just don’t see many folks awake out there on the Internet. I’m trying to encourage them, and even throw some suggestions out there that are tried and true, but is anyone listening? I see all the Port Angeles business websites, so I know what people are doing. Here’s a danger: having a static website and thinking you have a website. A lot more could be said about that, but no sense talking to myself. I mean that politely, only because I see no real discussions either here or anywhere on the P.A. Internet space.
